We provide each group with a list of general questions on privacy and security from which they can choose one to discuss and report back on. Naturally they can also make up their own question.

19:30-21:00 APC Chris Nicol FLOSS Prize Awards http://flossprize.apc.org/

The Chris Nicol Prize recognises initiatives that are making it easy for people to start using free/libre and open source software (FLOSS). Cocktails and tapas will be served in the Aula Master Room.

Day Two – Thursday, 5 June

9:00-10:30 Calibrating Your Paranoia

Experts in the fields of Internet security and privacy talk about their experiences in the post-Snowden world and what needs to change in the future. Comments and questions from the participants are encouraged.

11:00-12:00 Unconference Session 4 (60 min)
12:00-13:30 Lunch (ask particpants to re-visit questions from opening session)
13:30-15:30 Unconference Session 5 (120 min)
15:30-16:00 Tea Break
16:00-17:30 Name One Thing – Snowden Anniversary Session

Participants commit to doing one thing to improving privacy and trust on the Internet. They write it on a piece of paper and post it on a wall. This will cue a facilitated discussion reflecting on the event, picking out highlights from the “wall”, and exploring the possibilities for collective action in the the future.

DiscoTech

On the evening of 4 June 2014, we will host a Disco-tech where attendees will listen to short lightening talks over drinks and snacks in a relaxed atmosphere. Lightening talks will be only 60 seconds, but anyone who submits their name and talk title will be welcomed to speak.

FLOSS Prize Ceremony

Winners of the 2014 Chris Nicol FLOSS Prize will be announced. More information here: flossprize.apc.org.
